Read a fairy tale and analyze the story through the lens of women′s psychology. Consider all of the aspects of women′s abilities, intelligence, motivation, and work discussed in the fairy tale. Write your own version of the story, including all structural elements of a fairy tale, to address any negative aspects you discovered in your analysis. Your goal is to make the story more gender neutral, or even pro female. If the fairy tale already had some gender neutral details, feel free to keep those in your story and point them out!

To prepare for this discussion, please read Chapter 1 of your textbook (Feenstra, 2013). In addition, read Exploring the Ethics and Psychological Impact of Deception in Psychological Research (Boynton, Portnoy, and Johnson, 2013). Finally, review Instructor Guidance and Announcements. (Not reviewing these each week can affect your performance, be mindful to include these readings in your study time.)

Watch the following video Bullying: What Every Adult Needs to Know http://search.alexanderstreet.com.libproxy.edmc.edu/psychology-counseling/view/work/1779396.Be sure to take notes as you watch as you will apply what you learn to the following questions: 1. They may indicate that the child who says they are the victim of bullying is overreacting. How should schools or other adults respond to this statement?
