Differences Between Small And Large Business Companies

A common assumption is that the same management principles apply to both large and small business, the latter just on a smaller scale. Underlying this expectation is that the only difference between a big business and small business is that the latter has less revenue, fewer assets, and fewer employees. Based on your own experiences, does this seem reasonable? If not, what in your experience tells you otherwise?
